Project Overview
A property in Provo that has been vacant since the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church was demolished in 2007 is being utilized once again. The Provo Housing Authority purchased the 1.3 acre parcel and contracted KIER to build a new senior housing development.
Cascade Gardens, f.k.a. St. Francis Senior Housing, consists of 42 – 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom units, all housed in one distinctive 3-story building. The residents enjoy roof top garden plots, high end finishes and a convenient location. KIER Construction, Provo City Housing Authority and Architect, WPA Architecture, celebrated the Grand Opening in May of 2016.
