Project Overview
This beautiful, new Hyundai dealership is KIER’s third assignment with the Westland Ford/Hyundai family. Demolition of the old dealership began in the spring of 2015. The new, state-of-the-art facility was turned over in January, 2016.
The new structure is clean, functional and modern. Dixon Architecture’s linear design is comprised of masonry block, ACM panels, and a curtain wall glass storefront that reveals the expansive interior showroom. The challenge to match the ACM panel seams with the window mullions was achieved by using a laser beam and hydraulic scaffolding. The KIER project team was able to work around the Westland on site sales trailer and new car inventory as they carried out business as usual.
