Project Overview
Back in 1997 KIER delivered a brand new 63,000-square-foot dealership to Westland Ford in Ogden, Utah. It was a state-of-the-art facility with beautiful show rooms and a high tech service and parts department.
Seventeen years and a few thousand miles later, KIER returned to Westland to participate in the dealership’s rebrand. The new scope of work included stripping the entire front façade down to the studs, adding a new entrance with vestibule, replacing windows, and recladding the exterior with ACM (aluminum composite material) panels and corrugated metal.
The interior underwent a complete remodel while the dealership conducted business as usual. Night shifts and Sundays were added to the normal work week. Phasing was orchestrated by closing off portions of the building and rerouting both foot and auto traffic to new entrances and exits.
