In 2023, KIER partnered with the Safe Harbor Crisis Center in Davis County to support their mission of providing shelter, advocacy, and resources for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Safe Harbor’s Safe Zone-certified advocates not only offer emergency housing but also provide education, awareness, and supportive services that strengthen the entire community.

As part of this partnership, we organized a donation drive to gather essential supplies for Safe Harbor’s Emergency Protective Shelter. This shelter includes ten bedrooms, two common areas, a kitchen, and laundry facilities—creating a safe and comfortable environment for individuals and families in crisis.

With help from our employees, partners, and friends, we collected much-needed items to support shelter residents. KIER matched 100% of the donations, doubling the impact and ensuring the shelter was stocked with the essentials that make a difficult time a little easier.

We are proud to stand with Safe Harbor and grateful to everyone who contributed to this effort. Together, we helped provide comfort, dignity, and hope to survivors in our community.
