KIER’s latest venture with Mountain America Credit Union is zipped up, completed, or one could say, “in the vault.” Construction began in May of 2013 with a tight timeline and budget. Slag, or underlying tailings from area mining operations, was hit soon after digging began which delayed the schedule approximately three weeks. As a result, the team pressed more work out of each day, and the project was completed the first week of October.

This new branch is a modern, high tech, facility with cutting edge finishes. The exterior is a combination of Austrian manufactured Oko Skin concrete plank siding, Prodema engineered wood paneling, complete with an anti-graffiti, long lasting finish, and EIFS. The interior is finished with wood, rock and tile in beautiful earth tones. Metal landscapes add the perfect touch at both ends of the welcome center.

The Architect for this project was EMA Architects

This is KIER’s 25th branch with Mountain America Credit Union.
