The Cooperative 1581 will consist of 3 – three-story walk-up buildings. The unit mix will consist of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units. Recreational amenities are to consist of an outdoor BBQ and fire pit area, playground, pickle ball court, and an indoor bike/pet wash area. Cost efficiencies have been created with an efficient design that optimizes every square foot of the project’s spaces and the overall building.
Phase 1 will deliver a total of 144 income-restricted rental units, designed to serve households earnings at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). It will consist of 72 one-bedroom units, 36 two-bedroom units and 36 three-bedroom units. 9 units will be ADA-compliant “Type A” units, designed to accommodate residents with long-term mobility impairments.
