Project Overview
Fire Station #61 serves as the district headquarters for the Weber County Fire District. This 18,000 square foot station was designed by MHTN Architects and includes a unique inverted, butterfly roof. The station features eight large bays to accommodate standard firefighting equipment as well as Hazmat, EMT and brush fire fighting vehicles. The facility also consists of sleeping quarters for nine fire fighters, a large day room, district administration offices and a fitness room.
This project received the 2007 Associated Builders and Contractors “Excellence in Construction” award for a commercial project between $2 million and $5 million.
