Project Overview
New 19,560 sq ft, 2-story fire station building located in Eagle Mountain, Utah for Unified Fire Service Area. The project includes, site asphalt, concrete, fencing and landscape demolition. New construction of the buildings is concrete masonry block for the apparatus bay and structural steel frame for the remainder of the building. The exterior finishes include a brick masonry screen wall, factory-formed metal panel cladding and PVC single-ply roof. The project also includes mechanical, electrical, civil and site landscaping as defined in the construction documents.
This new station is part of the Unified Fire Authority, Utah’s largest fire agency that serves 15 municipalities and Salt Lake County.
Fire Station #253 will host a training mezzanine, apparatus bay and training room. Fire fighters will be housed in quality living quarters including a kitchen, sleeping rooms, exercise room, day room, laundry room, and bathrooms. Support spaces include a decontamination room with a laundry room, a medical room and storage rooms.
