Project Overview
The “Pride of the Westside,” Ogden Fire Station #4, is operational and has even more to boast about. KIER Construction demo’d the original 6,141 sf facility down to the skeleton – including the concrete garage bay floor. After that the work really began. Windows have been enlarged, rooms have been reconfigured, new floors, walls, ceilings, roof, HVAC systems, and data systems have been added. The new overhead coiling doors add the perfect finish with large, glass panels to let the sunlight in.
Station #4 is like a brand new building with a nostalgic vintage station look. A department Chief has added his own artwork in the form of wall hangings, a mural and a large handmade dining room table, complete with color changing rope lights. The basement fitness center offers the firefighters room and equipment to get their strong on. We are in good hands.
