Chris Comish

Director of Operations

Chris joined the KIER team in August of 2012 as a Project Manager. In two short years he was promoted to the Director of Operations. At present he plans, organizes, directs and oversees the day-to-day activities of the Project Management department. He oversees all project management staff, including project managers, project engineers, superintendents and associated support staff. He establishes each project’s team while providing the essential leadership and support to deliver the successful outcome of each project.

Chris attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting.  While attending college Chris was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.  After graduating from college, Chris started his journey in the construction field, both with “hands on” experience as well as management roles. Chris has a firm belief that hard work, integrity and an upstanding reputation are the building blocks of a successful career. Chris learned quickly the need for a team approach to executing work, and still lives by that approach every day.

Chris and his wife, Tina, live in South Jordan, Utah. They have been married for 30 years and are the proud parents of three daughters; Lindsay, Whitney and Kaleigh. Chris is an avid hunter who enjoys camping, fishing, golfing, bike riding and getting together to socialize with family and friends.
